MORE jobless Americans are resorting to "unconventional tactics" when applying for employment, according to a recent study by CareerBuilder.com. The human resources website interviewed more than 2,500 hiring personnel. About 20 percent reported applicants using creative means to make an impression on a prospective employer. That's up from 12 percent in 2008.
