KIM Dae-jung, the Republic of Korea's (ROK) late president, had the nickname "Mr Sunshine" for his "sunshine policy". That was the policy to improve relations with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), when he was in office from 1998 to 2003. Now he's managing to ease tensions, even in death.
