China's next step in space

CHINA has been preparing to send some space laboratories into space. On Tuesday, China Daily reported that the country may send two to three space laboratories skyward, between 2010 and 2015. This is in preparation for its plan to build a space station, in 2020, according to Gu Yidong, a designer for China's manned space program. |  |
