THE Old Summer Palace, or Yuanmingyuan, once had the name “The Garden of Gardens”. There were countless (无数的) cultural relics (遗物，遗迹) there. But after British and French armies burned it and stole from it in 1860, a large number of the relics were taken abroad. China is now sending a team of experts to museums around the world to record the cultural relics stolen from the palace, which has become a park.
