Editing is a broad field so there's no problem with your major

I'm a freshman majoring in international politics, which may sound cool, but I don't know exactly what I could do in the future with it. Many students in my major end up taking the civil service exam to apply for a government job. Yet the abstractions and theory may have nothing to do with my own career goals. What I really want is an editing job with a publication. So how can I follow my dream during my four years at college? |  |
