AMERICAN young people of all colors are putting on their dancing shoes and logging onto the Web to learn the basics of a new dance. “Jerking”, as it's called, began on the streets of Los Angeles more than a year ago. Over the last nine months, the dance – with its music and fashion – have begun spreading to other US cities.
