A NEW British survey found that 28 percent of parents are spending money on their 18-to-30-year-old kids. This statistic, along with others, is giving young people in the UK a bad name. They were once called “the boomerang generation”, but now kids who return home after college are being called “YUCKIES”, or Young Unwitting Costly Kids. “Yuck” or “yucky” is an informal English word meaning “gross”, “disgusting”.
