… WHEN I was a little girl, I often argued with my cousin because neither of us wanted to share. We were both too selfish (自私的). I remember that my aunt had a computer and both of us wanted to use it – I wanted to watch English cartoons while he wanted to play video games. We fought (争夺) over the computer and accidentally (意外地) knocked the laptop (笔记本电脑) to the floor. We were scared to death and thought we were surely in big trouble. However, my mom and my aunt did not scold (责备) us. Instead, they put away the laptop and told us both that we couldn’t touch it again until we could agree to share the computer. At first, we both blamed (责备) each other. However, we eventually (最后) realized that we had only ourselves to blame. We both realized that sharing is the best way to find happiness and relieve sorrow (免除悲痛).
