JUST days after US president Barack Obama praised his Russian counterpart Dimitry Medvedev as a “solid and reliable partner” at a White House summit, the FBI has arrested 11 people who allegedly have been spying for Russia. The arrests are a reminder of the two countries’ Cold War past. They also signal a new “trend” in spying during the post-Cold War era.
