Zhou Dongyu, 19, is probably the hottest high school girl in China this month. She is the heroine of famous director Zhang Yimou’s latest work, The Love of the Hawthorn Tree (《山楂树之恋》). The movie will come out on September 16. The film is based on a popular novel of the same title. It has been described as “the most innocent (纯真的) love story”.
