CRITICS (批评者) say a town in South Wales has spent far too much – ￡190,000 (2 million yuan) – building bridges for mice. Three suspension bridges (吊桥) will help local dormice (睡鼠) cross the busy new Church Village road. The mice live on either side of the road. They run the risk of being run over when they try to cross the road. While some town members praise this move, most believe it to be a waste of money.
