J.K. Rowling, the British author of the Harry Potter series, won the Hans Christian Anderson Literature Prize last Tuesday in Denmark. The prize is given to those who can be compared with Anderson, who developed the fairy tale genre (童话类别) in the 19th century. Rowling’s Harry Potter story takes place in an imaginary world with magic and dragons (龙). It was influenced by fairy tales.
