Li Gang might just be the most infamous dad in China at the moment. Last week, his intoxicated son crashed a car into two students at Hebei University, killing one and seriously injuring the other. Following the accident, his son staggered from the car shouting his father’s name in order to escape the clutches of campus security guards. Along with public condemnation of the young man’s behavior, campus traffic safety has also become a matter of public discussion, especially among students.
