Gas is too expensive

SEATTLE police were certainly suspicious (怀疑的) when they found a 45-year-old suspected (有嫌疑的) car thief throwing rocks at a stopped car, which she stole, on the side of the road. She was frustrated. She’d run out of gas. The suspect was arrested and later told the police that she had plans to drive her car from Seattle, Washington to Chicago, Illinois. But gas is just so expensive! And cars are much easier to steal.
