Vinegar violence
本文作者: Gabriella Van Leuven
A TRIP to the grocery store (杂货店), Walmart Neighborhood Market, on Thierman Lane in Louisville, Kentucky turned smelly (发出难闻气味的) two weeks ago when a local woman began attacking customers with vinegar. The 68-year-old woman, Barbara Atlas, soaked (浸) a rag in vinegar and was “flinging (扔)” drops of it at shoppers. She finally stopped her fling when the police arrived, but it was too late. Everyone had already soured on shopping. Atlas is charged with assault (袭击) and disorderly conduct. The reasons for her behavior are still unknown.
