Fake cop meets real cop

JAMES Dale Smith of Chattanooga, US, really wants to be a police officer. He works for a security company, drives a car that looks like a police car, wears a security badge (保安徽标) that looks like a police badge, and his uniform looks a lot like a real police uniform. Any confusion (混淆) as to Smith’s real job was cleared up last week when Smith played police officer and tried to arrest (逮捕) a real police officer. The policeman was in an undercover car, and knew immediately that Smith was not a real cop. Smith has said sorry but did admit that he thought the police officer was driving too fast. He also asked if he could have his picture taken in the officer’s hat.
