Sour shopping
本文作者: Gabriella Van Leuven
A TRIP to the grocery (杂货店) store, Walmart Neighborhood Market, on Thierman Lane in Louisville, Kentucky, US, turned smelly two weeks ago when a local woman began attacking customers with vinegar. The 68-year-old woman, Barbara Atlas, soaked (浸湿) a rag in vinegar and was throwing drops of it at shoppers. She finally stopped when the police arrived, but it was too late. Everyone had already soured (发酸,失去兴趣) on shopping. Atlas is charged with assault (袭击) and disorderly conduct (扰乱治安行为). The reasons for her behavior are still unknown.
