Earthquake shakes away deafness

ERFUL earthquake made a deaf (耳聋的) 75-year-old man very lucky. Robert Valderzak, in Virginia, US, lost his hearing when he fell on June 19. He has been in the hospital since the accident. But during a 5.8-magnitude (震级) earthquake in Washington DC two months ago, Valderzak got his hearing back. “It shook me terribly – right out of the bed. But after that it stopped. And my son talked to me, and I could hear his voice.” Valderzak said.
