FIREFIGHTER Jamie Giese is trained in mouth-to-mouth resuscitation (人工呼吸), but he never thought he’d have to perform it on a dog. Late last month in Wasau, Wisconsin, US, firefighters pulled an unconscious dog out of a burning building. Geise was able to revive (使复活) the dog using “mouth-to-nose” resuscitation. Fellow firefighters then fit the dog with an oxygen mask and rushed it to hospital.
