Ties off to cool down climate

THE Chilean government is attempting to slow down global warming by asking people to take off their ties. In a new campaign, Chile’s economy minister (部长) is encouraging Chilean businessmen to remove their ties this summer. Once ties are removed, the thinking goes, air conditioners will be turned down and energy saved. |  |
