LOSING face isn’t something you want to do – so it looks like Wayne Rooney is changing his face instead. Having had a successful hair transplant (移植) last year, the 26-year-old Manchester United star was seen at the game against Chelsea on February 5 with a rather different pair of eyebrows. The sight has aroused people’s suspicions that he may have had his eyebrows either plucked (拔掉) or shaved. His new look has not received much applause; most commentators have described it as scary or feminine (女性化的). But this didn’t affect Rooney’s performance in the game. The final result was a 3-3 draw, with Rooney contributing two goals.
