WHAT could be sweeter than being taken out by singer Taylor Swift? The 22-year-old American singer has agreed to a date with Kevin McGuire, an 18-year-old high school student who is struggling with leukemia (白血病). McGuire’s elder sister launched (推出) a Facebook page asking Swift to go to the school prom (舞会) with her sick brother. More than 23,000 people liked the Facebook page. The benevolent Swift replied that she could not make the prom, but would instead invite him to the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1. “I can’t wait to meet you,” McGuire said.
