BRITISH pop band One Direction (单向乐队) is a big hit right now in the US. Their album Up All Night was No 1 on the Billboard 200 chart from March 19 to 25. The group members, all between the ages of 18 and 20, appeared one by one on the British talent show, The X Factor in 2010. But none of them won success until they joined together as a group. Their first North American tour will begin on May 24. “The [biggest] goal would be to do a big, worldwide tour,” Liam Payne, one of the members said. “That would be the most amazing thing we could do.”21ST
