An increasing number of people in Western countries view China’s influence in a favorable light, according to a recent BBC World Service poll. It’s also noted that some of China’s neighbors and emerging countries still hold negative opinions of the country’s influence on the world. The poll interviewed 24,090 people from 22 countries between December 2011 and February 2012.
