Here’s mud in your eye: Participants of the “Wattoluempiade” (mud Olympics) compete for the ball during a handball match in the tidelands of the Northern Sea on July 29 in northern Germany. Athletes are called to compete in several disciplines including soccer, volleyball and a modified version of handball in the muddy conditions.
