CHINESE basketball player Yi Jianlian had been playing in the NBA for five years. But most of the time he has been on the bench and never played a major role. Last month, after he failed to re-sign (续签) with the Dallas Mavericks, the 24-year-old decided to return to the CBA. Yi has signed a one-year deal (合约) with Guangdong Tigers and will play for the club for the whole of the 2012-13 season. There are no longer any Chinese-born players in the NBA now that (由于) Yi has left. |  |
