EREMY Lin made “Lin-sanity” (“林旋风”) go worldwide last NBA season. But he said recently in a magazine interview that he is still sometimes affected by racism (种族歧视). The 24-year-old said he feels people see his skills as more limited because he is the NBA’s first Asian-American player. “There are a lot of stereotypes of Asian-Americans… I’m going to have to play well for a longer period of time for certain people to believe [I can play well].” Lin joined the Houston Rockets this summer but didn’t do so well during the pre-season matches. |  |
