IF you want to be on time for an important meeting in a crowded city like Beijing, you’d better leave home early.

According to a report by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the average (平均的) time a person wastes (浪费) in traffic in Beijing in one day is 14 minutes. And it takes a person 52 minutes on average to get from home to their workplace every day.

ACCORDING to a report by Beijing Normal University, 82.9% of middle school and primary school students in Beijing spend some time surfing the Internet every day.
