CHINA finally has its first Formula One (F1) driver. Ma Qinghua, a 24-year-old man from Shanghai, will represent the Spanish team HRT for F1’s 2013 racing season. Ma completed (完成) practice sessions (环节) for the team in Italy, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, where he proved (证明) himself talented enough to earn a spot on the team. Ma said he was really happy when he learned of the decision. “I hope through my performance, more Chinese will pay attention to F1 and motor sports,” he wrote on his Tencent Weibo.
