The world is facing a temperature rise of 4 degrees by the end of the century if the global community fails to act on climate change, the World Bank said on Sunday in a report. It warned that the consequences will include extreme heat waves, declining global food stocks and a sea level rise affecting hundreds of millions of people. It called on the world to take action on behalf of future generations.
