GUAN Tianlang is a Junior 2 student in Guangzhou. But in April, the 14-year-old will be in the field for the 2013 US Masters (大师赛), one of the world’s top golf championships. Guan earned the right to play at Augusta next spring by winning the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (亚太业余锦标赛) in Thailand last month. Guan will become the youngest ever to play in the Masters. Before him, Italian Matteo Manassero held the record by playing in the 2010 Masters at 16. |  |
