What is the “third wheel” in a relationship? You may be losing out if you haven’t heard of this term. After all, according to a recent online poll of Chinese college students by Renren, a Chinese social network, only one in 10 say they don’t know what it means. To the other 90 percent, the term means a *backup boyfriend or girlfriend for someone who is already in a relationship but wants to keep other options open. |  |
