One article says the Internet dulls our imagination–we no longer need to interpret the past through our own effort or impressions. The other article says the Internet cheapens our memories–we can no longer distinguish among the trivia we upload to the Web what’s really significant in our past. It seems both articles are nostalgic for the time before the Internet and social media were invented.
