As he fought, his beautiful wife Penelope was waiting for him in their palace (宫殿). She didn’t know whether he was still alive, for you see, in those days communication was a little difficult. Everyone believed Odysseus to be dead, so 108 men came to the palace every day to try to marry Penelope. |  |
