Hindi is the language spoken by actors in most Bollywood movies. But a New York Times story says Bollywood movie scripts are written in English: the instructions are in English and Hindi dialogues are transcribed in the Latin alphabet. This is because Bollywood film stars, like many educated people in India, find it easier to read Hindi if it is written this way. |  |
