WELSH soccer player Gareth Bale, 24, once again proves his value. To get him from British club Tottenham Hotspurs (托特纳姆热刺队), Real Madrid paid through the nose. The price is reported to be 100 million euros (800 million yuan). Bale was PFA Players’ Player of the Year (职业球员工会年度最佳球员) in 2011 and 2013. The Spanish club expects him to strengthen the team. Bale is also happy about the transfer (转会). “I know many players talk of their desire to join the club of their boyhood dreams, but I can honestly say this is my dream come true,” said Bale.
