US eaters want authentic cuisine

For most Americans queuing for 30 minutes outside of Xi’an Famous Foods in Manhattan, New York, Xi’an is a remote, mysterious place in China. But that doesn’t stop them from enjoying the Shaanxi provincial capital’s fine foods – including signature dishes roujiamo, a lamb sandwich or burger, “cold skin” noodles (凉皮) and yangrou paomo, a lamb soup with pieces of bread in it.
