AFTER nearly eight months of recovering (恢复), NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, 35, is back on the court. On Dec 9, Bryant, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, appeared in the game against the Toronto Raptors (多伦多猛龙队). It wasn’t his best performance, as he missed seven of his nine shots. But fans still gave him a hero’s welcome. They cheered Bryant’s every move and forgave (原谅) every mistake he made. Bryant was really thankful. “My rhythm (节奏) is completely out of sync (失调),” said Bryant. “But this is a start, and I guess a start is good.” 21ST
