The disappearance of flight MH370 shouldn’t be a reason to avoid air travel. According to Slate magazine writer Jeff Wise, airline travel is now so safe that if something does go wrong, the cause is likely to be a bizarre, once-in-a-million combination of bad-luck, *incompetence, and *malice.
