Yang Haotian had never walked up the stairs to the competition venue so quickly. The 19-year-old English major from the University of Science and Technology Beijing was overjoyed when he found out that he had won the Most Promising Speaker award in the 19th China Daily “21st Century Coca-Cola Cup” National English Speaking Competition.
