Guo Zekai, 22, a student at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, shows off his hand-drawn cartoons. Guo runs a studio on campus, together with his girlfriend Su Yajing. They design and make customized postcards, mugs and other gifts that bear hand-drawn cartoons. Since January 2013, the studio has achieved a turnover of more than 200,000 yuan. Their products are popular among college students and big companies in many cities and provinces including Shanghai and Shandong.
