JONATHAN Marshall is a falconer (驯鹰人) living in Devon, South West England. He loves his birds so much that he flies through the sky with them by parachuting (高空跳伞) and hand gliding (悬挂式滑翔) whenever the weather conditions are right. “I think I’m incredibly lucky to share my life with these beautiful birds,” said Marshall. “When I see them flying on a nice day I get a lump (哽咽) in my throat and often feel quite emotional.” An eagle can fly as fast as 190 km/h when hunting, while the top speed of a human hang gliding is around 50 km/h.
