When Muladili, 21, an Uygur student at Nanchang Institute of Science & Technology, heard that some people are afraid to go to Xinjiang due to a lack of confidence in the region’s safety, he wanted to do something about the negative *stereotype and present the true Xinjiang to his peers. He made a micro-movie, telling the story of students who come from different minority groups, yet mingled together in campus. So far the micro-movie he produced has worked well.
