WHEN I was 16 years old, I traveled to Germany as part of a school trip. I lived with a host family for two weeks in Dusseldorf – a small city in Western Germany. Afterwards, I traveled around to a few small villages such as Rothenburg and Heidelberg and then to a bigger city, Munich.
