IT seems that Earth is in a season of volcanic eruptions (火山爆发). A few months ago, volcanoes erupted in Iceland, Hawaii and Indonesia. On Sept 27, Japan’s Mount Ontake erupted without any warning. Over 50 people were killed. What has made so many volcanoes erupt recently? |  |
