AFTER winning the third season of the reality TV show Voice of China, Chinese singer Zhang Bichen has become the talk of the town overnight. In the first two seasons, the winners were men. On the night of Oct 7, the 25-year-old made a breakthrough to become the first female (女性) winner of the show. In the final, Zhang defeated (打败) all her opponents (对手) with three slow songs.
