Study pressures keeps some kids off the pitch

Feng Zhiqiang, a local soccer coach and PE teacher in Wuhan, likes to think back to the old days some 15 years ago when families took pride in having a kid selected for the school soccer team. Now, with students struggling with classes and coping with pressure from testing, Feng says there isn’t much room for recreation. “Kids hardly play sports anymore,” he said. “They just don’t have the time.”
