New wave of wearables

Tech companies are eager to insert technology into more aspects of our lives. They are creating more and more wearable devices, from fitness trackers to smartwatches. But unlike smartphones, these devices have not gained a strong *foothold in the market. Google Glass created a big buzz when it debuted in 2013. But since then, many critics have complained the device is inconvenient to use and, with its camera, is too intrusive. Google announced on Jan 15 that it would stop selling and producing Glass.
