Experiencing ‘space tourism’ on Earth: In September, a Canadian company announced its plan to build a moon resort (度假村) in Dubai. The resort will be about 224 meters tall and a replica (复制品) of the real moon. Using a carbon fiber composite material (碳纤维复合材料) which is strong and durable, the structure will look quite similar to the moon. The solar batteries of its surface will be able to light up and show the various phases (月相) of the moon. In the resort, visitors will also get a lunar experience. They will be suited up as astronauts, experience a sensation of zero gravity and go on a seemingly never-ending journey of discovery.
