BMW has come up with something extremely innovative – the Gina, a shape-shifting car covered with fabric instead of metal panels. Open the door and the fabric creases and wrinkles like skin. Turn on the headlights and the covers peel up like giant eyelids. The design aims to make the sporty roadster more aerodynamic. Its seamless skin, a single piece of durable fabric, can be morphed at the touch of a button to suit its owner's mood. You can see the car at the BMW museum in Munich, but it won't be mass-produced anytime soon.
